话说，看似简单的舞步，若真的要练，嘛是很难一下……
上次他们的《A Song Calling For You》，我只是想学副歌而已……超难的莫……从此我再也不敢笑萧敬腾了……呵呵……

ps：后面两个back-up dancers好像hyungjun和kyujong哦！韩国娱乐公司真的很爱把一个个backup舞者打扮得像艺人，除了舞台上好看，还能在艺人受伤时顶替上场……（就像上次Jaejoong事件）

Staff Dinner 2009

Should have done this weeks ago, just couldn't find time for it.
Okay, so this year's SMK Methodist Staff Dinner a.k.a Annual Dinner was held at Paramount Hotel, 7pm on the 14th November 2009.

Let's start of with my scary photos  new image :

This was our table draw present. I personally quite like this cute file. =)

Next is my personally lucky number. Although I did wish to get the Tupperware set (I mean, who doesn't?!), I 'm still quite satisfied with this. Decided to give to mum since she badly needs one.

ps: There's something to share about the process of getting this present.

As you all can see, the outfit I wore that night was no where near FORMAL. But then, first of all, I have no formal dress (I don't want to wear my prefect dinner one, for no reason. Girls are unpredictable, if not

un-understandable). I don't want to wear baju kurung again either.

Then, the white shirt I chose was a bit too exposing. I have neither a half-cup *2nd part of my short name* or a brooch/ pendant (How come I sound so... so.. poor?). No choice but to use the scarf to make me look more presentable. Turns out to be a nice choice since the air-conditioning system in the hotel was upgraded (I assume). I was wrapped in it the whole first part of the night until the 4th dish (I guess?).

I decided that it's not my time to go on stage for the presents, hence I took off my scarf, FOLD IT NICELY (I rarely do this, kay?) and put on the chair next to me (Our table had only 8 people. YES! = can eat more and "da bao"). After eating, I pushed the chair a little bit wider so as to be able to cross my legs. My teachers even laughed and said : "Oh Barbara, you are already getting ready to go on stage?" "Yeah! =)"

The next second, my number 0168 was called out. I was still in a blur stage when the other 7 nudged me "Hey Barbara, it's you!!" "Don't forget you ticket!!" "Woohoo!!"

In a state of shock, I forgot my scarf and just marched up the stage.

Moral (s) of the day :

Wear something that you don't need to take of and make you look fabulous at all times.

Be alert and prepared, ALWAYS.

上課鈴響了，孩子們跑進教室，這節課老師要講的是《灰姑娘》的故事。

老師先請一個孩子上臺給同學講一講這個故事。

孩子很快講完了，老師對他表示了感謝，然後開始向全班提問。

老師：你們喜歡故事裏面的哪一個？不喜歡哪一個？為什麼？

學生：喜歡辛黛瑞拉（灰姑娘），還有王子，不喜歡她的後媽和後媽帶來的姐姐。 辛黛瑞拉善良、可愛、漂亮。後媽和姐姐對辛黛瑞拉不好。

老師：如果在午夜12點的時候，辛黛瑞拉沒有來得及跳上她的南瓜馬車，你們想一想，可能會出現什麼情況？

學生：辛黛瑞拉會變成原來髒髒的樣子，穿著破舊的衣服。哎呀，那就慘啦！
老師：所以，你們一定要做一個守時的人，不然就可能給自己帶來麻煩。另外，你們看，你們每個人平時都打扮得漂漂亮亮的，千萬不要突然邋裏邋遢地出現在別人面前，不然你們的朋友要嚇著了。女孩子們，你們更要注意，將來你們長大和男孩子約會，要是你不注意，被你的男朋友看到你很難看的樣子，他們可能就嚇昏了（老師做昏倒狀，全班大笑）。 好，下一個問題：如果你是辛黛瑞拉的後媽，你會不會阻止辛黛瑞拉去參加王子的舞會？你們一定要誠實喲！

老師：是的，所以，我們看到的後媽好像都是不好的人，她們只是對別人不夠好，可是她們對自己的孩子卻很好，你們明白了嗎？她們不是壞人，只是她們還不能夠像愛自己的孩子一樣去愛其他的孩子。 孩子們，下一個問題：辛黛瑞拉的後媽不讓她去參加王子的舞會，甚至把門鎖起來，她為什麼能夠去，而且成為舞會上最美麗的姑娘呢？

學生：（過了好一會）午夜12點以後所有的東西都要變回原樣，可是，辛黛瑞拉的水晶鞋沒有變回去。


老師：天哪，你們太棒了！你們看，就是偉大的作家也有出錯的時候，所以，出錯不是什麼可怕的事情。我擔保，如果你們當中誰將來要當作家，一定比這個作家更棒！你們相信嗎？

Yeah yeah, I'm just back from Biro Tatanegara (Kursus Kenegaraan).

Conclusions:

1. I seriously need to go jogging and exercising. My stamina deteriorated till I'm speechless.
2. I seriously need to lose weight. The bed was all shaking and squeeking when I climbed on it. Geez..
3. Got to learn how to push up correctly. Can't just fail it everytime. So embarrassing.. lar~
4. I can touch the ground with my palms!! Woohoo!! Great achievement~~
5. STPM rocks!! The PA1 we learnt and memorised helped me so much in this camp. Muacks~~~

跟雨太有缘不是件太好的事

如果你跟我很熟，应该会常常（？）听到我叨念说我的生日总是被label成【雨季】【雨天】什么的（农历）……所以我对雨特别敏感，也特别有缘……

我可以嗅到雨的味道（是说在下雨前就可以）因此如果我说会下雨，就一定会下雨！

我是那种淋到两滴雨点就可以生病的人。

每次有重大事件，尤其是去露营前几天，一定会连续下雨，而且还是那种整天的长命雨……

请问……我的衣服这么会来的及干呢？！（泣）

好了，我要去packing了……早餐还没有吃呢～还有很多很多准备事项还没有达成……然后等会儿还要去修头发，then有staff dinner……那doshite我还在线上晃啊晃的？！（殴）

ps 2: went to get Tien Tien's wedding photo with her, Mee Ling, Ashanti, Lin Chieh and Chui Ying. Can't help but get infected with the happy bug~ Haengbok ki~ the wedding photos make the bride and bridegroom look like artists. weewiit!!

Tips on how to prepare tasty olive (Foochow style, or Sibu style, or Sarawak style, whatever you name it) :

1. Pour water into a pot containing olives. Make sure the water covers the olives. The proportion of hot water to warm water is 1:2.  It simply means one-third is hot water, two-third is warm water.
2. After 10 minutes, take out an olive and slightly press the skin. If it's soft, it's cooked; if it's hard as stone, leave them for another 5 minutes.
3. Drain the water out.
4. Sprinkle sugar generously onto the olives. Shake the pot to ensure all olives are coated with sugar.
5. Add in soy bean sauce and shake the pot once more.
6. Serve while olives are still warm

Easy, ain't? Remember the water proportion and sugar before soy-bean sauce.  Believe me, this method taught by guy who sells olives works perfectly for all black olives.
